Drive hex replacement for Slash 4x4

This drive hex is supplied as a 2 pcs replacement for TRAXXAS Slash 4x4 vehicles using SSLA1277RH or SSLA1280FH drive shafts. Keep the set for maintenance swaps or as a spares pair for events.

Fit and function: designed to mate with the listed shaft codes, the hex restores the mechanical link between wheel hub and drive shaft. Inspect hub clearance before refit and retain original screws or clips to protect bearing preload and alignment.

Installation notes: remove wheel and hub to install the hex, ensure the hex sits fully onto the shaft shoulder, and confirm the wheel is centred once refitted. Minor offset or seating changes can influence drivetrain feel, so re-check any slipper or diff adjustments afterwards.

Tuning role: changing worn hexes is a straightforward maintenance step that removes unwanted play at the hub and keeps wheel engagement consistent during hard acceleration and tight turns, aiding predictable lap times.

Yet another fantastic set of parts from GPM Iv really been able to have a lot of fun upgrading essentially everything on my new rustler. The parts are so accurate are smooth and immaculate. Great shipping too and well packaged
They are aftermarket replacements specified to fit the SSLA1277RH and SSLA1280FH shaft interfaces; confirm the shaft code on your vehicle before ordering.
Basic wheel removal tools and a set of hex drivers are enough. Take care to reuse retaining hardware where possible to keep factory alignment.
Replace them when you notice slop at the hub or after repeated impacts; replacing both sides together maintains balanced handling.
