Upgrade kit for front CVDs and knuckles

This 12pcs upgrade set is a direct-replacement front axle assembly made for Traxxas Slash 4x4 platforms, aimed at increasing front-end longevity while retaining precise steering feel. The design mixes hardened 45# steel with 6061 T6 aluminium parts to keep strength up and rotating mass down.

Construction notes: the CVD shafts incorporate hardened 45# steel mating sections paired with 6061 T6 aluminium components, and the knuckle arms are machined from 6061 T6 aluminium to reduce wear. The centre axle section is beefed up to 6mm to absorb high-impact landings, and spring steel hexes secure the hub under stress. Bearings included are selected for smooth wheel-end operation.

Fitment and setup advice: the knuckle arm offers multiple mounting holes to alter tie rod angle and tweak ackermann for different tyre or shock setups. Confirm spline engagement and bearing seating during installation and recheck toe after a break-in run. The hardened steel contact points and thicker axle section help prevent bending and keep steering consistent across rough tracks.
