This aftermarket component adapts the SLASH 4X4 LOW-CG drivetrain to a locked-spur configuration. CNC-machined from 7075 aluminium with a hollow centre, the adapter trims rotating mass while offering a rigid mount for the included steel 32 pitch 56T spur and 17T motor gear. Removing differential action directs torque straight to the driven wheels, a setup often used for drag-style or straight-line tuning on 1/10 scale models.

Installation follows standard gearbox service: remove the original adapter, fit the 7075 unit on the shaft, mount the 56T spur and align the 17T motor gear, then secure with the supplied shaft screw and lock nut. Final checks for gear mesh, axial play and bearing alignment are essential to prevent excess wear; confirm motor pinion engagement before first run.
