This kit is intended for TRAXXAS Slash 4x4 Low-CG and combines a fixed gear adaptor with a motor heatsink mount to keep the motor in a stable position and help remove heat during energetic use. Components are machined from 6061-T6 aluminium to limit deformation and improve thermal conduction away from the motor.

There are five mounting indexes named A, B, C, D, and E which let you alter the relative position between the motor pinion and the spur gear. Changing holes gives precise control of gear mesh to cut down on binding or play without altering the gearbox internals.

Fitting advice: choose the index that gives the correct mesh, then tighten screws evenly to preserve motor alignment. The heatsink mount locates between motor and chassis points to enhance contact and provide a stiffer metal motor mount compared with stock plastic fittings.
