This SLA049LCG upgrade swaps the stock top link area on the C-hub and the nearby support points by the front gearbox and centre mount on TRAXXAS SLASH 4X4 models. The design allows tuners to alter steering geometry by changing tie rod length and adding a compact stabiliser at the top.
Adjustment is simple: insert a thin tool into the positioning hole on the link, rotate the threaded section and alter the effective length. Parts are CNC-friendly aluminium 6061 T6 to reduce weight while improving tensile strength over moulded plastic. The adjustable section uses a counter-clockwise thread and the triangular clamp increases lateral stiffness while keeping controlled suspension movement.
The package is an eleven-piece kit covering both sides of the front end and includes mounting hardware that replaces the stock top link screws. Fit using a hex driver and verify toe and steering endpoints on a bench before driving outdoors.
For TRAXXAS SLASH 4X4 builders wanting incremental handling improvements, the SLA049LCG aluminium kit gives length tuning and a modest stabiliser to tighten front-end response without heavy geometry modification.
