SLEDGE front and rear diff assemblies, pre-built

This RC-scale complete differential set has been prepared for TRAXXAS 1/8 SLEDGE MONSTER TRUCK installations. Each assembly is supplied pre-built and combines 20CrMnTi steel on loaded gear faces with 7075 aerospace-grade aluminium housings to increase component longevity while remaining track-ready.

Helical gear pairs use a 10T pinion and 43T ring gear with module 1.0mm, configured for both front and rear placement. The unit is made to replace factory part number #9580 and is shipped without differential oil; top up with the oil specified in TRAXXAS service instructions.

All mounting hardware is fitted at the factory. For secure, long-term service, apply a medium-strength screw adhesive to fasteners to reduce the chance of vibration-induced loosening. Fitment should follow normal RC drivetrain procedures and the vehicle manual for any torque recommendations.

Compatible Models

  • TRAXXAS 1/8 4WD SLEDGE MONSTER TRUCK-95076-4

Ideal when replacing worn diffs or building a spare drivetrain; remember to select the correct diff oil viscosity and appropriate threadlocker for your setup.

Open the filler points per the vehicle guide and add the recommended oil gradually, cycling the assembly to ensure proper distribution before sealing.
Yes, a medium-strength screw glue is suggested on the recommended screws to prevent loosening under vibration for long-term reliability.
Ensure correct alignment of the input shafts and follow the vehicle manual sequence; check for binding before final torqueing.
Use the torque values specified in the TRAXXAS manual and tighten fasteners progressively in a cross pattern where applicable.
Check fasteners and oil condition after initial break-in and then as part of routine maintenance, increasing inspection frequency for heavy track use.
