Upgraded centre plate for T-Maxx

This 4.5mm aluminium main chassis is an aftermarket replacement designed for the TRAXXAS 1/10 T-Maxx platform and for hobbyist use. It swaps in for the stock centre plate and mates with original mounting points, using the supplied screws and collar hardware to secure the drivetrain and suspension fittings.

The construction focuses on improved rigidity to cut down on chassis flex during high-power acceleration and hard landings, making it a common choice for drivers adjusting stiffness or repairing damaged factory plates. Installation involves removing the centre assembly, verifying motor mount and gearbox alignment, then tightening the supplied fasteners to spec.

Specifications

  • Item: Alloy Main Chassis
  • Material: Aluminum alloy, 4.5mm
  • Model Number: TMX1016
  • Compatibility: TRAXXAS 1/10 T-Maxx

Use this plate when replacing cracked or bent stock plates or when experimenting with chassis stiffness; always double-check fitment with your T-Maxx configuration.

Ensure the motor mount, gearbox and servo positions are correctly aligned and rotate driveline components by hand to check for binding before final torque.
Where compatible, stock screws can be reused, but follow any listing notes about supplied hardware and apply thread locker where metal-on-metal threads are present.
Check that ESC, receiver and battery placements maintain safe clearances from the plate edges and fasteners; minor repositioning may be required on some builds.
It fits standard 1/10 T-Maxx layouts; if you run heavily modified mounts confirm hole locations and clearances before committing to drilling or trimming.
