The STMX1200 is a 5-piece hard steel gear set made as an aftermarket option for TRAXXAS T-Maxx platforms to replace worn differential internals. These harder gears are intended to extend service life versus softer OEM gears while keeping vehicle drive characteristics unchanged.

Fitment requires checking bearing play, mating surfaces and gear mesh against the spur and pinion. Ensure bearings spin freely and pick the appropriate grease or diff oil for your differential type. Run the unit gently after install so the new steel teeth seat evenly.

Use the STMX1200 set when you need a tougher replacement for internal differential gears on TRAXXAS T-Maxx 1 or T-Maxx 3.3, and follow normal RC differential servicing steps.
