Adjustable front and rear damper mount for trail work

This 16 piece aluminium adjustable damper mount set has been developed for TRAXXAS TRX4 owners wanting stronger mounting points and selectable ride-height positions. The metal replacement prevents deformation found in original plastic mounts and gives multiple mounting holes to alter damper geometry and raise the chassis for better clearance on rough lines.

Installation is simple: fit the 3x6x2 aluminium collars between the damper ball and mount, insert the round-head screws from the rear and fasten with the 3mm lock nuts on the outside. All small hardware needed for retrofit is included so damper bodies remain untouched.

Fitment notes and tuning: choosing the upper holes lifts the mount about 6mm over factory, while the lower option can give about 18mm extra lift versus the stock position. Any lift will change suspension geometry so you should adjust tie rod length and steering centre to maintain correct axle alignment. Because the centre of gravity rises with lift, combining this upgrade with a wider track or wider hex hubs helps retain lateral stability on steep climbs.
