This JR-TRX418-BK aluminium body post mount is intended for Traxxas TRX-4 scale and trail crawlers and carries a black anodized finish. The part replaces the softer plastic body post to provide a more consistent attachment point and neater scale appearance.
The mount secures the body while still allowing incremental adjustments to ride height and clearance—useful when setting tyre clearance or maximising articulation. The aluminium construction resists bending and keeps the body alignment stable during repeated use.
To fit, remove the factory body post, place the new mount in position, confirm clearance around the tyres and suspension, then tighten. Make gradual adjustments and test articulation to avoid interference during full suspension travel.
Notes on setup: switching to a rigid mount will change body movement under chassis flex. After installation, inspect articulation and adjust body height as needed to obtain the desired scale stance and clearance.
