Aluminum adjustable front C hub for precision steering

This RC-scale adjustable front C hub kit is made for TRAXXAS TRX4 Trail Crawler builds. It swaps the factory plastic C-hubs and standard hardware for aluminum 6061 T6 parts, Delrin collars, and stainless steel king pins to deliver a firmer steering joint and repeatable damper placement. The package includes 28 pieces and is aimed at scale trail rigs.

The kit is intended to help tune steering geometry and damper mounting points. Changing the C-hub assembly and the quantity of Delrin collars used at each damper mount will alter damper angle and effective ride height. The damper mount is positioned slightly outboard compared with the stock vertical damper, which modifies lateral support and allows subtle height adjustment through collar stacks.

Practical installation notes from the hardware list:

• Assemble the C-hubs and knuckle with the supplied king pins and stainless screws, keeping mating surfaces clean and using light lubrication where metal touches metal.
• When adopting the modified tie rod-to-damper connection, attach tie rods with round head screws 3x18 (2 pcs) as specified.
• Choose damper mounting screw length by collar count: no collar use 3x14, one collar use 3x16, two collars use 3x18, three collars use 3x20; ensure adequate thread engagement without over-tightening.
• After install, inspect steering link geometry to prevent binding and to verify full travel with your servo and steering stops.
