Servo horn for locking differential on TRX4

This aluminium servo horn is crafted for TRAXXAS TRX4 Trail Crawler applications to assist the servo when engaging the locking differential. The 6061 T6 construction gives a robust yet lightweight part, and the built-in spring helps dampen abrupt impacts so the servo experiences fewer load spikes on rough lines.

The package contains the small fasteners required for installation and correct spacing. For best results install the 3mm metal washer under the stainless steel round head screw to avoid an excessive gap between the screw head and the aluminium collar, which helps keep the linkage true and reduces play.

Can this reduce servo failures on the trail?

The spring reduces sudden torque shocks to the servo when the diff locks, which can lower the risk of gear stripping or motor stress during impacts.

The supplied small hardware covers mounting and spacing, so no additional screws are normally needed unless you use nonstandard servos or linkages.

How to check correct alignment after fitting?

After fitting, cycle the differential and watch linkage travel; ensure the washer sits under the screw head and there is minimal endplay in the collar.
