Is any modification required to wheels?

No machining to wheels is normally needed so long as the inner diameter is 45mm and the hub accepts the 23mm hex adapter supplied in the kit.

Will it change steering feel?

You may notice a heavier, more planted feel at low speed due to the lower centre of gravity; steering response at high speed is largely unchanged.

Can I run it on wet trails?

Yes, the brass construction and sealed bearing design tolerate wet conditions, but rinse and dry components after muddy runs to prevent corrosion on fasteners.
