Servo horn designed for TRX4 diff lock linkages

This aluminium servo horn set is produced to interface with the locking differential found on Traxxas TRX4 trail crawlers. CNC machined from aluminum 6061 T6, the horns include a captive spring that helps dampen impact and limit shock transfer to the servo when the differential engages.

Functionally the component sits between the servo output and diff lock linkage, helping the servo to set and hold lock position without altering the driveline. The spring gives a measured compliance that reduces sudden torque spikes passing through the servo output shaft.

Fitting notes: assemble using the supplied 3*10 stainless round head screws and aluminium collars, and locate a 3mm metal washer beneath each screw head to reduce axial gap. Observe correct torque settings and thread locking practices for a secure installation.

The kit is intended as a direct-scale servo interface for TRX4 crawlers using a locking differential; the spring-loaded connection helps protect the servo while keeping the assembly light and robust.
