Precision rear damper mount for TRAXXAS UDR

This 14 piece rear damper mount kit is intended for use on the TRAXXAS UNLIMITED DESERT RACER and is supplied as model UDR030. The set includes two aluminium rear mounts along with a selection of stainless steel round head screws to attach the parts to the chassis.

The design stabilizes the shock and provides multiple mounting holes so you can fine tune damper angle and fitment for rear suspension setup. Install with common RC hand tools, inspect thread engagement, and ensure correct alignment before driving.

Just received Avery well packed and vey shiny box of GPM parts... all look great... only one negative... and probably on my part... the discs and calipers come in sets of 4... not 4 discs or 4 calipers.. oh well another order to follow... great service th

Does this require chassis modification to fit?

Most TRAXXAS UDR chassis will accept the mount using the supplied screws. Check hole alignment before final tightening and drill only if absolutely necessary.

Is the aluminium prone to corrosion?

The mounts are aluminium; stainless screws are included to resist corrosion. Rinse and dry after salt exposure and inspect hardware periodically.

What change in feel should I expect?

Aluminium mounts reduce flex at the top of the damper, giving a more predictable response and cleaner damping feel when experimenting with different mounting angles.

Are there torque recommendations for the screws?

Use a moderate torque setting for 3mm screws to avoid stripping. Hand tools with a firm feel are preferred and use thread locker on metal-to-metal joints if needed.
