160mm L-shape Front Internal Damper

This aluminium piggy-back internal damper is supplied as a scale replacement for the Traxxas Unlimited Desert Racer 1/7 platform. The L-shaped body features an internal piston layout and is manufactured to 160mm to suit the front damper geometry specified for the compatible model.

Fitting is intended as a swap-in at existing front damper mounts; where compatible you can keep the original spring and top retainer. Damping is tuned by changing the top spring retainer position and by rotating the red adjustment screw on the negative-pressure oil chamber to modify internal preload and oil flow.

Use the part to adjust rebound and compression characteristics on the car without changing spring rates or shock length, focusing on practical suspension setup rather than visual upgrades.
