Durable 304 stainless skids for Unlimited Desert Racer

The UDRZSP567 package is an 18-piece stainless skid plate set made for Traxxas 1:7 Unlimited Desert Racer Pro-Scale vehicles. Plates in 1mm and 2mm 304 stainless are positioned over the front, centre and rear chassis to reduce direct strikes to the chassis shell and battery cover during aggressive off-road use.

The kit includes mounting hardware intended to either replace the original plastic guards or add an extra metal layer where required. Two POM collars are supplied for placement between a plate and the rear axle case to steady the installation, and self-adhesive double-sided tape sections are pre-applied around the battery cover to assist fitting.

Installation is simple: remove the original screws at each plate mounting point, lay the plates in position and fasten with the supplied screws. The set contains both round head and flat head screws as listed in the original contents, and POM collars are used where noted to avoid interference with moving components. For stronger tape adhesion, ensure contact surfaces are clean and warm the tape and cover before pressing them together.

Designed as an aftermarket protection upgrade for the Traxxas Unlimited Desert Racer, this kit adds metal reinforcements at typical impact zones while remaining removable via the supplied fasteners and collars.
