Low-profile stainless shielding for tube runs

This protection kit is built for the TRAXXAS Unlimited Desert Racer tube chassis and uses 0.5mm stainless panels to cover the front tube sections and wheel well zones, giving a realistic metallic finish while guarding vulnerable tubing.

The panels are compact and designed to be mounted with the included double sided tape, keeping installation simple and unobtrusive without the need for permanent modification. The metal surface helps limit wear from abrasive materials encountered during off-road runs.

How the panels help: flat stainless plates reduce direct impact on the tubes and keep grit and small debris away from lower tube surfaces, which helps to preserve tubing shape and consistent chassis geometry for predictable handling.

Fitting guide (adhesive): clean and mark the tube chassis alignment points, apply the double sided tape to the panel backs, press each panel firmly into position, check alignment and allow the tape to cure before putting the model under load.
