Aluminium rear axle case carrier for improved diff stability

This 14-piece aluminium rear axle case carrier is an RC-scale replacement made for the TRAXXAS UNLIMITED DESERT RACER, intended to stabilise differential gears and bearing positions. It reduces drivetrain play for a more consistent gear mesh under load.

Constructed from 6061-T6 aluminium, the part prioritises precise bearing seats and tensile strength at mounting points, not altering gear spacing or the drivetrain layout. The result is a firmer platform for the diff internals.

Installation uses the supplied stainless steel round head 3x16 screws to secure gearbox covers and clamp bearings; torque the screws to control axial gap rather than forcing bearings by hand. Use the set when adjusting endplay or replacing worn gearbox cover components on the listed chassis.
