Aluminium L-shape front shock, 135mm

This aluminium piggy back front damper set is supplied as an aftermarket replacement for the TRAXXAS UNLIMITED DESERT RACER chassis. It is aimed at increasing front oil capacity and front-end rigidity to give more consistent damping through dunes and rough tracks.

The bodies are made from 6061 T6 aluminium and are sealed to limit oil seepage. They accept thicker suspension oils for increased damping authority. Shafts have been upsized to 5mm to withstand heavy impacts, and the L-shaped reservoir extends oil travel to soften transitions between compression and rebound. The kit includes thicker coil springs to raise the spring rate, while stock springs remain an option for a gentler setup.

Installation notes: these shocks measure 135mm for front placement on the stated TRAXXAS platform. You will need to disassemble, bleed and refill the shocks during fitment; check seal seating and torque on mount hardware to prevent leaks. Tune spring rate and oil to suit surface and driving style.
