This front CVD set is an aftermarket solution for TRAXXAS Unlimited Desert Racer vehicles that replaces the factory dogbones to improve front end durability. Torque is delivered to the front wheels through an SST joint paired with a hardened steel body, preserving original layout while improving load handling.

The twin CVD halves are intended to work with your existing driveline parts. The profile follows an extra duty range of 4.5mm up to 6.5mm and keeps the midpoint dogbone at 96mm so it matches the Unlimited Desert Racer factory geometry.

Fitting is straightforward: remove the stock dogbones, mount each CVD half to the axle and hub, tighten SST joint fasteners, and check spline engagement and suspension movement for any interference. Reapply thread locker where needed and verify fit on a short test run.
