Front roll control upgrade

This 12pcs front sway bar kit is built for the TRAXXAS UNLIMITED DESERT RACER chassis and swaps factory parts for stainless steel and aluminium components to tweak front roll and tie-rod geometry. The set replaces the stock front sway bar and arms with a thicker stainless steel bar and aluminium sway bar arms that give two tie-rod mounting options for setup versatility.

Fitting the kit requires removing the original front sway bar components, seating the stainless steel bar into the stock mounts, and using the supplied 3.5mm reamer if factory holes need enlarging. All necessary fasteners are included to secure arms and linkages, and the tie rods attach at the chosen position to change arm angle and roll behaviour.

Designed to increase the effective bar stiffness and allow adjustable leverage via the dual arm holes, this kit is handy when tuning for loose or hard-packed surfaces.

Try both tie-rod positions during test runs to find the best trade-off between roll resistance and steering bite; the reamer helps avoid binding when aligning the arms.
