6061 T6 L-shape Piggy Back Dampers for Front and Rear

This 8-piece aftermarket dampers set is made for the TRAXXAS UNLIMITED DESERT RACER chassis and supplies matched L-shape piggy back shocks for both front and rear corners to improve suspension behaviour on loose or uneven surfaces. It is intended for hobbyists who want serviceable, upgradeable shocks for tuning sessions and extended off-road use.

Constructed from aluminum 6061 T6, each damper body is tightly sealed to minimise oil leaks. The design calls for a higher concentration suspension oil to achieve stronger damping and the piggy back reservoir increases oil travel for smoother operation during long compression cycles. Shafts are reinforced to 5mm and the coil springs are wound with 2.0mm wire to raise spring rate, while the original springs can still be used to soften the setup if needed.

The set ships with front and rear spring dampers plus corresponding internal damper cartridges so you can rebuild both corners as matched pairs. These components are intended for scale RC suspension tuning, fitting to model chassis, and routine maintenance when oil or seals require replacement.
