This upgrade kit is designed for the TRAXXAS Unlimited Desert Racer and combines a 6061 T6 aluminium heat sink with a top-mounted fan to improve airflow around the motor during prolonged high speed use.

Its purpose is to reduce thermal buildup so the motor and ESC operate closer to their intended temperature ranges while you run. Installation is direct: remove the original motor cover, place the heatsink and fan assembly over the motor, then secure with the provided screws and adapters.

The kit includes all necessary mounting hardware so additional fasteners are usually not required. Final setup involves confirming fan direction and ensuring a firm mechanical mount before powering the fan from a suitable source.
