Will these dampers change ride height?

Ride height can be affected by spring preload, but the supplied adjustable retainers let you correct and set height without altering the chassis mounts.

How durable are the shafts under heavy use?

With the shaft increased to 7.0mm and a polished finish, the dampers resist bending and wear better than the thinner stock shafts.

Do I need special tools for installation?

Installation uses standard tools and the included steel pins. Basic hand tools and a small hex driver are all that are normally required.
