Replacement rear spiral bevel for X-MAXX

The STXM1200R rear spiral bevel gear serves as an aftermarket replacement compatible with TRAXXAS X-MAXX drivetrains. Constructed from hard steel, it aims to reproduce the original X-MAXX bevel geometry and fit without implying enhanced power handling.

This part is intended for swapping out worn or damaged rear bevel gears and for drivetrain inspections during regular maintenance. Installation specifics are chassis dependent and should follow the vehicle service manual or a qualified hobby technician's instructions.

Key installation checks include correct gear mesh, bearing condition, shaft fit, and appropriate lubrication and clearances prior to operating the model. Use this as a replacement drivetrain accessory only.

Good material quality vs stock. But I think the ring gear needs to be designed better! As the meshing is too loose. The ring gear needs to be a bit thicker like the stock one to move the teeth closer to the pinion. Shimming the pinion helps a little bit.
A short, low-load break-in run is recommended to seat mating surfaces and confirm mesh, then recheck fasteners and lubrication.
You can reuse bearings if they show no play or pitting; otherwise replace them to ensure proper life and alignment of the bevel gear.
STXM1200R is dimensioned to match the original bevel set and should not alter gear ratios when fitted correctly.
