L-shape piggyback dampers made for X-MAXX duty

This kit provides aluminum L-shape piggyback damper components intended for use with TRAXXAS X-MAXX shock bodies, designed to replace internal damper parts without discarding factory shock tubes. The piggyback layout increases internal oil volume and incorporates anti-leak measures to keep oil contained during extended suspension travel.

Important: the kit is not a complete sealed shock assembly and requires your original X-MAXX shock body and caps for correct installation and sealing.

The package upgrades the shock shaft to a stronger 7mm stainless steel rod for improved stiffness under load while using aluminum for the piggyback housing to add capacity and maintain manageable weight. Two spring choices included at source are a 6mm green coil and a 2.8mm orange coil to help dial in initial setup options.

These components are supplied as a front and rear compatible set so the same geometry fits both ends of the X-MAXX chassis. Keep original seals in good condition and reuse factory hardware where it ensures proper fit and sealing performance.
