These aluminium rear knuckle arms incorporate POM collars to stabilise CVDs and wheel bearings on X-MAXX chassis. They are intended to cut lateral play at the knuckle so steering geometry stays more consistent through rough use.
Manufactured from 6061 T6 aluminium and matched with POM collars, the parts reduce bearing clearance for a snug location while allowing enough compliance to avoid bearing compression.
Installation is straightforward for the compatible models listed below and preserves steering response without extra complexity. The geometry is designed to resist deformation under load and to allow routine servicing.
Note: the conversion requires fitting 20x27x4 bearings; confirm size before you start the swap.
Fit these arms when you want a firmer bearing seat and steadier steering on TRAXXAS X-MAXX 1/5 4WD rigs, and be sure to install the specified 20x27x4 bearings.
