Heavy-duty servo mounting for TRAXXAS X-MAXX

This kit is an RC servo mounting and linkage solution tailored for TRAXXAS X-MAXX models that need a stiffer mounting platform for heavier servos that follow the 2075x footprint. Replacing plastic parts with machined 6061-T6 aluminium and stainless hardware reduces unwanted flex and improves steering precision.

The kit includes a reinforced aluminium servo mount, a 25T aluminium servo horn, stainless tie rod(s) and a range of screws and shims to fit the X-MAXX chassis and common servo case sizes. Hardware selection emphasises threaded stainless fasteners and a mix of countersink and alloy shims so you can fine tune linkage geometry without altering the chassis permanently.

Mechanically yes; the mount and stainless hardware will not compromise a servo's waterproofing, but ensure wiring and seals remain intact during installation.

Is electrical grounding or earthing required?

No special grounding is required for the mount itself; standard servo installation practices apply. Check that servo casing does not short to nearby electronics when fitted.
