Front gearbox reinforcement in aluminium 6061 T6 for XO-1

This XO012A front gear box case is an aluminium reinforcement kit developed for the TRAXXAS XO-1. It strengthens the front gearbox and the steering column by swapping out the stock case and anchoring the steering column with stainless fixed posts.

Items supplied with the kit are the front gear box case, two stainless steel steering fixed columns, and the stainless steel screws listed below. The case uses aluminium 6061 T6 for a mix of stiffness and lightness, and the fixed columns are stainless steel for corrosion resistance.

Installation tip: mount the part to the front gearbox area and use the included screws to secure the case and steering columns; perform alignment checks against the servo and steering linkage before final torque.

Can I use this on other Traxxas models?

The XO012A is designed specifically for the TRAXXAS XO-1 front gearbox area. Other models may differ in mounting points so check measurements before fitting.
