This aftermarket upgrade targets the TRAXXAS XO-1 platform, focusing on steering precision and component longevity. The main servo arm is machined from 6061 T6 aluminium to resist shear, while the adjustable tie rod and included fasteners use stainless steel to reduce wear at pivots. An integrated spring in the horn helps damp impact shocks and safeguards the steering mechanism.
The kit replaces the standard servo arm and steering link and offers two mounting positions on the tie rod so you can fine tune steering throw and centring bias without changing servo endpoints. The turnbuckle uses a counter-clockwise thread for easy adjustment.
Fitting tips: align the servo centre and mount the horn to the servo spline, pick the tie-rod hole that matches your desired steering ratio, then program or check transmitter endpoints to prevent over-travel. Swap the tie-rod position to trade turn-in response for stability on different layouts.
