Designed as an aftermarket option for the TRAXXAS XRT 8S, this L-shape piggy back shock helps control rebound and dampen impacts to keep the model predictable over bumpy terrain.
Construction uses a 6061-T6 aluminium body fitted with a shock-absorb cap to reduce oil leakage, and a piston spring mounted inside the piggy back reservoir to tweak rebound response. The polished damper shaft is beefed up to 7.0mm to cut the risk of bending compared to the stock 5.2mm rod.
Adjustment is simple: the top spring retainer sets preload while the red screw at the bottom of the negative pressure oil cylinder adjusts rebound bias without removing the unit. Units ship with 2.9mm silver coil springs, and the installed 2.8mm black spring can be reused if required.
Installation advice: intended for front or rear fitment on the specified TRAXXAS chassis—verify mounting geometry and thread compatibility, and use correct shock oil and seals to preserve performance.
