This aftermarket kit replaces the stock front and rear differential assemblies and the upper bulkheads on TRAXXAS XRT 8S machines. Critical drivetrain parts are produced from 4140 carbon steel with heat treatment to boost shear strength and longevity. The housings and upper bulkheads are precision CNC machined from 7075-T6 aluminum to add structural stiffness while managing mass. The assembly is designed for heavy-use RC scenarios, including repeated jumps and sustained high torque loads, delivering a tougher drivetrain while preserving original geometry.

Included drivetrain details are a 32T diff bevel gear, 10T pinion gears, and components manufactured to module M1.6. Bearings and sealing gaskets necessary for the assembled differentials are supplied in the kit to ease the swap from plastic factory components to metal replacements. This material upgrade aims to stabilise differential behaviour under load and lower wear rates on the original plastic gears.
