This graphite front shock tower is made as a hop-up for the TAMIYA TRF 416 chassis. The 416-15/WO provides a stiffer front mounting option and alternate eyelet positions to help tune suspension behaviour for 1/10 on-road use.
The part installs using the TRF 416's existing mounting points and hardware, so no chassis surgery is needed. The only changes to the car are material stiffness at the front and the additional shock location choices offered by the tower.
In practical tuning, fitting a graphite tower moves the flex/rigidity balance forward, which can improve turn-in or make the car more responsive under load. Adjust damper setup and springs in small steps and recheck toe and ride height after installation to maintain consistent lap times.
