Adjustable front bulkhead braces for TRF421

This Factory Pro kit provides two front bulkhead plates made to suit the Tamiya TRF421, with a 1mm and a 2mm option to vary front-end stiffness. The components act as aftermarket braces to influence chassis feel while preserving the TRF421 bulkhead layout.

The concept is simple: alternate the thinner and thicker plate to explore changes in understeer or oversteer and to tune front grip for different surface grip levels. Parts fit into the TRF421 mounting points for fast swaps between practice runs.

Installation and setup tips

Fitment uses the TRF421's existing bulkhead screws; remove the original brace, fit the chosen thickness, and tighten to the vehicle's usual torque. Try the 1mm plate when you want more compliance on slippery tracks, and the 2mm plate when sharper steering response is required.

For reliable comparisons, alter only the brace thickness during tests. This controlled approach helps you see how front bulkhead stiffness affects turn-in, mid-corner balance, and rear traction.
