Trumpeter 02278 EF-2000A Eurofighter Typhoon 1:32 Scale Model

The Eurofighter Typhoon represents a collaborative European design combining agility and multirole capability. Its twin-engine, canard-delta arrangement has made it a mainstay of several national air forces since development began in the 1980s.

Construction Notes and Finish

This 1:32 Trumpeter 02278 kit gives a substantial model at 498mm length and 352mm wingspan. The 462 injection-moulded parts spread across 19 sprues allow accurate panel lines and control surfaces, ideal for careful painting and display mounting.

Specifications

  • Scale: 1:32
  • Length: 498mm
  • Width: 352mm
  • Total Plastic Parts: 462
  • Includes 3 rubber tyres
  • Decal Markings: ZJ917/AE, Eurofighter Typhoon F.2, RAF/17 Squadron
Use a selection of fine files, hobby knives, plastic cement and CA glue for small details. A steady workspace and precision tweezers will make fitting the smaller parts easier.
The supplied decals cover ZJ917/AE and an RAF 17 Squadron F.2 scheme, but experienced modellers can adapt or source aftermarket decals to represent other operators.
Painting is recommended to bring out the kit detail. Acrylic or enamel model paints both work well; use primer first and thin coats to preserve fine panel lines.
