This Trumpeter rendition of the PLA Type 56 divisional gun presents a faithful miniature of a historically important artillery piece. The kit focuses on correct proportions and component definition to give modellers a solid base for painting and detailing.
From its 1950s entry into service, the Type 56 became a common artillery asset, reflecting the period's tactical needs. At 1/35 scale the gun's key elements, such as the carriage and barrel, are reproduced to suit accurate finishing and accurate display alongside figures and vehicles.
Parts are moulded to capture fine detail, so assembly rewards careful preparation and dry fitting. The kit requires glue and paints, and with weathering and basework it makes an eye-catching centrepiece in a diorama or on a shelf.
