The Seahawk MK.100/101 represents the postwar British naval jet that entered service in the early 1950s. This Trumpeter release documents the types use as a Royal Navy ground attack aircraft and later operations under the German Federal Republic, with a production total of 434 examples.
Introduced in 1953, the Seahawk soon became part of frontline squadrons. By 1955 the airframe required performance improvements, prompting upgrades such as the Nene 103 engine. The MK.100 and MK.101 variants were produced for German requirements, including fittings for different weather operations.
The 1:48 scale kit captures the Seahawks silhouette and cockpit detail, appealing to hobbyists and display builders. It contains 89 plastic components, a detailed instrument film and one photo-etched part, and the decal set depicts West Germany Navy insignia for an authentic finish.
