The Sd.Kfz.182 King Tiger combined a powerful long-barrel 88mm gun with heavy armor to dominate late World War II engagements. Trumpeter's 1/72 rendition captures the Porsche turret profile and overall stance in a compact scale for model display.
Conceived after 1942 as a successor to the Tiger I, the King Tiger featured up to 150mm frontal armor and robust side protection. The model reflects these defining characteristics, giving builders a small-scale representation of a historically significant armored vehicle.
This kit is composed solely of plastic components to simplify assembly and painting. It includes 105 parts across eight sprues and assembles to a finished length of 143mm. No metal or resin parts are supplied, keeping the build straightforward for hobbyists.
