The Trumpeter 1:72 scale Sturmgeschutz IV model brings a slice of WWII vehicle history into a small, manageable kit. Debuting in December 1943, the StuG IV married the superstructure of the StuG III to a Panzer IV chassis; production lasted until March 1945 and totalled 1,139 units built at Krupp-Gruson in Magdeburg.

What Made the StuG IV Notable

Equipped with the 75mm StuK 40 L/48 and fitted with the saukopf mantlet, the StuG IV operated with a crew of four and was used mainly to support infantry operations. This kit recreates those elements with clear detail, making it suitable for small dioramas or shelf displays.
