This scale aluminium motor bracket with an integrated upper spur cover is built for TRX-4 chassis to steady the motor, protect the main gear and limit dust entry. The combined assembly reduces motor movement and helps keep a consistent mesh under slow, technical crawling.
The bracket allows the motor to be fitted to several positions so you can fine tune pinion-to-spur spacing. It moves the motor forward by 3mm compared with the stock mount to slightly shift the weight distribution forward, which can improve front-end traction on steep approaches.
Made from 6061 T6 aluminium for improved strength and impact resistance, the part features machined cooling fins for passive heat dispersal. An active cooling fan is mounted on the top cover to force additional airflow over the motor area for better temperature control during long climbs.
Fitting replaces the OEM motor mount and upper spur cover and reuses or replaces fasteners as required. Take care when setting gear mesh, adjust incrementally and confirm smooth turning before running to avoid gear damage.
Part location: Main gear upper case
The aluminium assembly suits builders wanting a firmer motor support and improved thermal control on TRX-4 crawlers, with adjustability for accurate gear mesh and extra protection for drivetrain components.
