Designed as a scale V8 LS3 engine radiator for TRAXXAS TRX-4 Defender projects, this unit blends an aluminium main shell with stainless-steel fittings and a black heat-resistant ABS cover and exhaust. A high-speed cooling fan with a welded temperature sensor provides automatic thermal control for the motor area.
Fitment notes: the radiator measures 52mm x 63mm x 71mm and is intended to be fitted in the motor bay. Installing on a TRX-4 Defender requires removal of the stock manifold to gain clearance and trimming of the crossbar on the body post to match the intake. For builds that move the engine forward the radiator may be mounted to the existing damper mount and fender but could need a flat-style front damper mount such as TRX4028 or similar to clear both manifolds.
Operation details: the temperature sensor is set to trigger the fan at about 35C and to reset near 25C, each with a tolerance of +/-5C. The fan produces roughly 3.25 CFM of airflow (+/-10%) and is delivered as a single integrated switching assembly thanks to the welded sensor.
A scale-correct radiator that adds active cooling to TRX-4 Defender scale builds; verify clearance and required manifold or mount changes before finalising the installation.
