Alloy battery strap for TRX4 rigs

This aluminium strap is an RC-scale accessory made to secure onboard batteries while supporting passive heat transfer. Its hollow-centre layout takes multiple battery profiles, including vertical and humpback packs commonly used at 7.2V and 8.4V.

The main plate is machined from 6061 T6 aluminium to help move heat away from the battery case, and a thin foam pad is supplied to remove slack when slimmer packs are fitted. Mounting hardware includes a 3x23.5 king pin screw and one foam hold-down piece so installation requires no extra parts.

For trail and crawler setups the strap keeps the battery settled to preserve predictable weight distribution during slow technical runs, and the open centre lowers contact area to aid passive cooling under longer loads.

Included mounting items?

Supplied items are the machined strap, a foam hold-down pad and a single 3x23.5 king pin screw for secure fitting.

Will LiPo packs fit?

This strap is aimed at classic vertical and humpback NiMH form factors; thin LiPo packs may fit with the foam spacer but confirm dimensions before use.

How does it affect heat management?

The 6061 T6 alloy plate increases surface area for heat spread and the central opening reduces direct contact, assisting passive cooling during extended operation.

Is drilling required to fit other models?

It is tailored to the listed TRX4 and GT4-TEC 2.0 fit points; fitting to different chassis may need hole alignment or minor modification. Verify before cutting or drilling.
