Reinforced spring steel links for TRX4 crawling

This 7pcs spring steel link kit upgrades the tie rods on TRAXXAS TRX4 Trail Crawler models to give crisper steering feedback and improved resistance to bending. Adjustable lengths and reverse-threaded rod ends let you dial in toe and wheelbase for dedicated trail or crawler setups.

Designed for scale RC applications only, the set allows geometry adjustments without cutting or altering axle housings. Use the provided midpoint figures for alignment: front upper 80.5mm, front lower 114.8mm, rear upper 139mm, rear lower 135.5mm. Tie rod thickness is increased from 5mm to 6.5mm to boost stiffness.

  • Tie rod diameter: Thickened to 6.5mm from original 5mm
  • Thread: Counter-clockwise reverse thread, adjustable length

Use this set to reduce steering flex and to fine-tune link lengths for stable handling on technical trails; match midpoints during fitment to preserve correct geometry.

They target TRX4 Trail Crawler geometry; check the midpoint measurements against your axles and link mounts before attempting to fit them to other chassis.
Adjust the toe via the reverse-threaded ends and recheck the front upper and lower midpoints; small length changes can correct persistent drift without other mods.
The links are similar in external profile to stock rods, so ground clearance changes are negligible; the main change is reduced flex from the thicker 6.5mm rod.
Inspect threaded ends for wear and keep pivot points free of grit; a light application of lubricant to threads helps smooth length adjustments.
