Bumper-Mounted Scale Lamps for 1/18 TRX4M

This aftermarket LED assembly is designed for 1/18 TRX4M scale models to replicate a bumper lamp cluster and enhance realism on vehicles like the TRX4M Ford Bronco and Defender.

The assembly features a nylon mounting bracket, a transparent lamp cup, and 3mm wiring, fitted to a 3mm warm white LED. It attaches to the model's original beam using the factory fit points so you can install it without cutting or drilling the chassis when you follow those points.

Assembly advice: position the lamps to match the vehicle layout for correct scale appearance and run the 3mm wires back to your lighting module or battery connector. Keep in mind this accessory is decorative and not intended for heavy electrical load or long-term weather exposure.

Is installation difficult for a novice modeller?

No. If you follow the existing mounting points on the beam the fit is straightforward and requires basic wiring to your lighting controller or battery.

Can the LED be swapped for a different colour?

The kit uses a 3mm warm white LED; swapping is possible but requires desoldering and replacing the LED with a matching 3mm unit and suitable wiring technique.

Will I need extra mounting hardware?

No additional fasteners are normally required when mounting to the original beam locations, as the bracket is shaped for direct attachment.
