Light Green Coverage for Plastic Model Kits

The Tamiya 85022 TS-22 Light Green aerosol is a synthetic acrylic lacquer developed for hobby use, drying to a smooth surface suitable for decals and further detailing. A single 100ml can generally covers two to three 1/24 scale plastic car shells, making it efficient for kit builds.

Layering and Finish

After the paint has fully cured, you can apply acrylic or enamel paints over the finish without adverse reactions. That makes it easy to build complex colour schemes and add fine highlights or weathering.

Surface Preparation

Start with a clean, dust-free surface and shake the can well before spraying. Apply several light coats rather than one heavy coat and allow adequate drying time between layers to reduce bubbling or sagging.
