This alloy main shaft is provided as a replacement component for Tamiya TT01 chassis repairs and upgrades. It functions as the drivetrain's direct-drive shaft and aims to lower play under load relative to the original stock shaft.

Fitting the shaft involves removing the existing main shaft and inspecting adjacent bearings and gears for wear. Confirm spline alignment and that bearings seat correctly before final tightening, and follow the TT01 manual for thread locking and torque values; the replacement retains the factory mounting geometry.
