This aluminium bulkhead mount is an aftermarket part for the Tamiya TT-01 Type-E chassis, replacing the stock plastic bracket with a stiffer alloy unit to support the gearbox area and keep drivetrain parts aligned when pushed hard.

Produced by CNC machining, the part emphasises repeatable fit and reduced deformation under load. On track this helps maintain consistent spur to pinion engagement and lowers unwanted movement in the bulkhead region versus plastic originals.

Fitting is straightforward for anyone who has stripped a TT-01 Type-E before: remove the original mount, transfer bearing assemblies and internals into the new bracket, and secure with the existing screws. Only common hex tools are required.
