High-wear steel bevel for TT02 gearboxes

This is an aftermarket steel large bevel gear sold in a 2 piece set, intended for Tamiya TT02 and TT02B chassis as a 1/10 scale drivetrain part. The steel replacement gives greater wear resistance compared with the original plastic bevel gear.

In a typical TT02 gearbox the large bevel receives drive from the pinion and spur arrangement and passes torque to the differential and wheels; fitting steel will change the wear profile and the mechanical response of the drivetrain. Follow TT02 service procedures when fitting, verify correct mesh with the pinion, check bearings and mating parts, and apply appropriate diff and gear lubricant before trial runs.

Best used as a maintenance replacement or for modest durability upgrades, bearing and alignment condition should be confirmed since steel-to-plastic interfaces can accelerate wear on neighbouring parts if not addressed.
