Precision Steering Link for TT-02

This steering tie rod kit is an aftermarket aluminium linkage built for the TAMIYA TT02 RC chassis and supplied as one upgrade set. It suits RC hobbyists wanting a firmer steering link than the original plastic component for improved tuning feedback.

As part of the steering system, the tie rod directly affects toe settings and steering repeatability. Swapping to an alloy link cuts down on flex under load, delivering steadier steering input during setup changes and on-track adjustments.

Fitment needs the same ball studs and thread pitch as the TT-02 steering assembly and servo saver. Installation is straightforward with common tools and does not alter servo calibration, but always confirm ball cup seating and free movement after fitting.

Tuning advice: lock in toe angles more reliably when trying different suspension or drivetrain setups and watch for any binding at full lock. Routine inspections and light lubrication of pivot points will preserve smooth steering operation.

It is compatible where the steering geometry matches the TT-02 layout; check clearance and ball stud positions if you have altered steering blocks.
The alloy rod stiffens the link, which can change the mechanical feel but does not change servo output. Verify servo torque is sufficient to avoid binding at full lock.
Keep threads clean, check for wear on rod ends, and apply thin lubricant to metal pivots to prevent corrosion and reduce friction.
